The Food Network Great Food Truck Race is on and if you spent the last eight hours tweaking a spreadsheet and on the phone with business clients, then few things can quench the hassle off a work day like a little competition on the Food Network. I for one still prefer reruns of Alton Brown’s Good Eats. The Great Food Truck Race is still quite enjoyable.
This week’s episode was in Pensacola, Florida. The big challenge being to catch a delicious Red snapper.
Donnie Ferneau Jr. made it pass last week’s premiere in New Orleans, requiring a recipe for chocolate cheesecake and they have advanced another week.
After the preliminary contest Ferneau’s team which consist of Donnie’s wife, Meaghan and sous chef Amanda Ivy, they created a snapper recipe shooting them over to the third episode.
The next show would take place in Alabama next week. Five trucks remain in The Great Food Truck Race, which airs at 8 p.m. Sundays.
